Partnership with Godspeed Project for 2013 Season

Team D-Spare is proud to announce their partnership with Godspeed Project for the 2013 Formula Drift season. Godspeed Project was a big help in the 2012 season helping the team acquire a Formula D license and finish ^4thplace in the VegasProAm series. Much time was spent testing the new Godspeed products in 2012 on the track and the results were good. With this partnership Team D-Spare is making plans to attend ALL Formula D events throughout the season in the Godspeed Project Nissan S13 with a Toyota 1JZ engine. They are excited for what 2013 has in store with this new venture. Keep your ears to the street for more news regarding Team D-Spare and build progress on the Godspeed S13.

Prepping for XDC

So, the prep work for the XtremeDriftChampionship is nearing completion, the car is looking great!
All the hard work is paying off indeed.
We’ll leave you a couple of shots from the work in progress.
Still a lot of work to do with the decals, but we are getting there!

Vegas Pro-Am Rd 1 2012

This year started off different than we had hoped.
With the car fresh off the dyno making over 400 hp we were very excited to get to the track and see what Brandon could do with the new machine. We had plans to shake down the car locally before taking straight to competition but that didn’t work out. To make this extremely long story short, the car ran awesome in practice making so much smoke we had to take off the trunk just to let the smoke escape the cab.
Right before qualifying the car began to cut under boost. We made it to the line for both runs but the car had no power so we went home with no score for qualification.
It was good to see our friends and hang out in the warmer-than-Utah weather.
